DESCRIPTION:After several months of work\, the restoration of the organ of the Notre-Dame de Fourvière basilica is completed. \nWe invite you on Sunday October 4 at 6:30 p.m\, for the blessing of the restored organ celebrated by Father Matthieu Thouvenot\, Rector of the basilica. \nThe blessing will be followed by a small concert d’Yves Lafargue\, titular organist of the Notre-Dame de Fourvière basilica. \nThe opportunity to rediscover all the richness of the sound palette of the most played organ in Lyon. \n  \nThe work was carried out by Michel Jurine\, organ builder\, and made it possible to modernize and renovate the instrument. \n“I was there in 1995-1996 for the restoration of the century and I am still present today \nto direct this lifting and the bringing into harmony of the pipes.
